Ingredients:
- 1/2 small pineapple
- 25 gm/1 oz fresh root ginger
- 1 carrot
- Ice-cream
Method:
- Cut away the skin from the pineapple, then cut it into quarters and remove the core from each piece. Roughly slice the pineapple flesh and then chop into portions small enough to fit in the juicer.
- Thinly peel the ginger, using a sharp knife or vegetable peeler, then chop the flesh roughly. Scrape or peel the carrot and cut it into rounds or chunks.
- Push the carrots, ginger and pineapple through a juicer and pour into a glass. Add ice cubes and serve immediately.
